Supporters of Israel from Kenton, England, and surrounding areas arrived in Israel for a 5-day solidarity visit this past week, and were able to meet with - and offer significant help to - Hatzolah of Yesha; they credit Arutz-7 with having arranged the match, as follows:
A joint group from Kenton United Synagogue, headed by Rabbi Chaim Kanterovitz, and others arranged by World Mizrachi and Tehilla, took time off to spend five days in Jerusalem last week. Their itinerary included meetings with Old City Rabbi Nebenzahl, Mayor Olmert, NRP leader Rabbi Yitzchak Levy and others, as well as sessions on topics such as Aliyah to Israel. A high point was their meeting with Yossi Goldberger of the Judea and Samaria chapter of the emergency medical organization Hatzolah. The volunteer doctors and medics who make up Hatzolah \"www.hatzalahys.org\" provide emergency care to residents of Yesha who have been lately made to face the stark dangers of murderous Palestinian terrorism. The fine impression made by Goldberger and Hatzolah upon the Kenton-Mizrachi group was felt immediately upon the latter\'s return to England. They raised funds for two special emergency volunteer\'s kits - medical supplies, a protective vest and defibrillator equipment - and plan to raise funds for more. One of the trip\'s organizers credits and thanks Arutz-7 for facilitating the good deed: He says his initial contact with Hatzolah began after he saw the group\'s ad on Arutz-7\'s website.
