The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) notes that two more American citizens were added to the list of victims of PLO terrorism this past week, and calls on the Bush Administration to demand that Arafat hand over those responsible for prosecution in the US. Fourteen-year-old Keren Shatsky, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, and 20-year-old IDF Sgt. Lee Nachman Akunis were murdered in separate attacks carried out this past week by Arafat-affiliated groups, bringing the number of Americans killed by Palestinian terrorists since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993 to 25.

American lawmakers are calling on President Bush to designate as terrorist organizations those Arafat-controlled groups that have carried out terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. Reps. Henry Waxman (D-CA) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) are circulating a letter in the House urging the president to place the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Tanzim and Force 17 on the U.S. list of foreign terrorist organizations.
