Karnei Shomron Mayor Hodi Lieberman told Arutz-7 today that the town council began organizing a response to the residents\' social needs immediately following the attack:

\"We\'re working in three circles: the families of both the dead and the wounded; the children, including those in other classes and schools, via the principals, teachers, and other professionals; and the entire community - we have opened a walk-in crisis center where people can come for help, and we put out a daily letter to residents. I decided that as of tomorrow, I will move my office to the shopping center, the site of the attack…

\"I can already see the first signs of recovery among the youth and others. For one example, there was a man who had been deliberating whether he should rent and open a store in the shopping center. Last night he called and informed the shopping center owner, \'There\'s no question, I\'ll definitely rent the store. We\'ll talk about the price later.\'\"

Lieberman said that Prime Minister Sharon must put an end to his \"zig-zag policy\" regarding our current situation: \"Sometimes the army brings more soldiers to our areas, sometimes less; sometimes they go in to PA areas, sometimes they don\'t… The army is ready to carry out major actions, but is waiting for the government to give the order… The government is unfortunately reacting to each terrorist attack individually, instead of recognizing that these attacks are nothing less than war, and must be related to as such.\"
