The ministerial committee for legislation approved a bill by MK Uri Ariel yesterday that would define the Palestinian Authority as a terrorist organization for all intents and purposes. Justice Minister Meir Shetreet, however, has appealed the decision, and the committee will therefore review it again. MK Ariel expressed annoyance at Shetreet, saying it would be advisable for him to work against terrorism. The coalition will discuss its position on the proposal today.
