Anyone who has doubts over the efforts made by the IAF to avoid civilian casualties in the campaign against Hamas in Gaza should see this video.

Released by the IDF and translated by Arutz Sheva, it documents incident after incident in which a missile strike was called off because the pilots identified what they thought were uninvolved people near the targets.

It is not the first time such video evidence of the degree to which the Israeli Air Force has gone to avoid civilian casualties, even at the expense of the mission itself.

Late last week a similar video was released, showing how an airstrike was called off after children were spotted nearby.

It is a reality that Hamas and other terrorist groups have proven more than willing to exploit, regularly employing human shields and even openly gloating about the "success" of such tactics in preventing IAF strikes.
