The staff at Ashkelon's Barzilai Hospital is fighting to save a 16-year-old who was seriously wounded in the chest by shrapnel from a Hamas rocket that struck the coastal city Sunday.

Dr. Hezy Levy, General Director of Barzilai Hospital told Arutz Sheva about the treatment being given to the teen, as well as the special arrangements the hospital is making in order to deal with the emergency situation.

The hospital itself is well within the range of Hamas rockets but has a section that is fortified against rockets.

Dr. Levy took time to pray and don tefillin before going back to the hospital work.
