The Knesset's Committee for Internal Affairs visited rocket-ravaged Sderot Sunday, but instead of showing solidarity and providing moral support, MK Tamar Zandberg of the far-left Meretz party incensed Sderot's mayor by comparing IDF bombings of Gaza to terror fire.
Mayor Alon Davidi was so insulted by this comparison, which was made inside the same bomb shelter where his children often have to stay, that he got up and appeared ready to throw out the MK from the room.
