Three military incidents carried out by PA elements caused great concern today, although they all ended without casualties. Arutz-7\'s Kobi Finkler reports that two suspicious shells were fired and landed in the Negev, due east of northern Gaza. Shortly before that, a Kassam missile landed not far from Kibbutz Saad, almost four kilometers the east of central Gaza, and \"the army is checking its remains to see if it was a Kassam-1 or the more dangerous Kassam-2.\" If the latter, it would be the first time that the Palestinians had managed to fire this homemade product against Israel. \"It fell further east than other shells in the past,\" Finkler noted, and created a large, 1-meter deep crater. Earlier this morning, a bomb was found at the Taibe checkpoint, some eight miles east of Netanya. It had been left there in a basket only seconds before by an Arab woman who hoped to have it explode on IDF vehicles passing by.
In Hevron yesterday, a teenage Arab girl attempted to stab a Jewish mother of 8. The woman pulled out her gun, but only after she actually pointed it at her did the girl stop and run into a nearby house. Israeli soldiers arrested the would-be attacker with a large knife still in her hands.
Other attacks late this afternoon included shots at Gilo, at a Border Guard outpost in Tul Karem, and at guards along the Trans-Israel highway… The army stationed a tank and an outpost in an area between the Ramallah slaughterhouse and the road to Beit El late today, following yet another shooting attack at Israeli vehicles. No one was hurt in these attacks... Over the weekend, two Arab rock-throwings injured a child near Beitar Illit, and damaged a Magen David Adom ambulance west of Bethlehem... In Shechem, the army completed the military operation it began there early last Friday with several arrests, but admitted that one of its main suspects managed to escape... Army forces continued operating in the nearby village Tamoun today, from whence the murderers of the three Israelis in Hamra last week apparently originated…
