A group of Jewish students from Fasman Yeshiva High School in Skokie, Illinois are coming to Israel next week in conjunction with the Israel Connection Project. Rabbi Shmuel Schuman who heads the initiative matched the students with peers in Moshav Matityahu, Israel. The students corresponded with one another via email and raised money for various needs in the Israeli village. The Rabbi of the Moshav was flown in to address the students in Skokie. The 4 winners of a school-wide essay contest on the \"Importance of the Land of Israel\" received an all-expense paid solidarity trip to Israel. The group will be based on the Moshav and tour Israel throughout their visit.
