The College of Judea and Samaria will be convening a special forum entitled “Media Accuracy and the Middle East: A Conference in Honor of David Bar-Illan.” The March 3rd conference will bring together journalists, academics, and government officials from Israel and abroad and will focus on media bias as it applies to news coverage of Israel. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will serve as the forum’s keynote speaker.

David Bar-Illan is a former editor of the Jerusalem Post. He also wrote a weekly column in the paper called “Eye on the Media,” which dealt with anti-Israel media bias. Bar-Illan published a book under the same title. He also served as a government advisor in the Netanyahu government.
