Minister of Public Security Uzi Landau will be extending the closure order on the Orient House, the former PLO headquarters in Jerusalem. The decision follows consultations with police and other security agencies that have proof of continuing illegal PLO activities in the capital.
Police closed the Orient House on August 10, 2001 following the suicide bombing at the Sbarro Pizzeria in downtown Jerusalem that killed 15 Israeli civilians.
