An investigation into the January 27 suicide bombing in downtown Jerusalem that claimed the life of 81-year-old Israeli Pinchas Tokatli reveals that the female terrorist entered the city inside an Arab Red Crescent Society ambulance. The IDF and the GSS (Shin Bet) believe that the Fatah terrorist, 27-year-old Wafa Idris, who was a Red Crescent volunteer, passed through the Kalandia checkpoint north of the capital in the ambulance. The IDF says that this is not the first time that Red Crescent vehicles have been used by Arabs in weapons smuggling or hiding terrorists wanted by Israel.
