Workers of Israel\'s largest Health Care Fund, the Kupat Holim HaKlalit, will stage a one-day strike today in protest over the planned dismissal of some 500 of them. The clinics will be open, as will the emergency medical services, but its affiliated hospitals will be operating on a Shabbat schedule, meaning that only very necessary medical care will be rendered.
