Rabbi Yitzchak Levy, head of the National Religious Party, has strong criticism of Prime Minister Sharon\'s most recent remarks regarding a Palestinian state. Sharon said again yesterday that for the sake of \"true peace,\" he would be willing to cede parts of the Land of Israel, and that in the end, \"a Palestinian state would be established.\" Rabbi Levy responded today that Sharon\'s willingness to do so is \"worse than the Oslo Agreements, because it is being expressed in the midst of warfare.\" The NRP leader said, \"We see once again that \'only the Likud can\' [a take-off of an old Likud campaign slogan] give away homeland areas to foreign control.\"
