On again, off again. On Friday, the army placed blockades on the main Gaza highway, effectively cutting off northern Gaza from the south. The move was taken in light of terrorist warnings, but yesterday afternoon the road was re-opened. By evening, Palestinian terrorists had shot at Israeli cars at the Gush Katif junction - one was damaged by bullets, but no one was hurt - and the army re-closed the road shortly afterwards.



Arabs also fired last night at an IDF force near Elon Moreh, in the Shomron... This morning, terrorists in Beit Jala shot at and damaged 14 apartments, two cars, and a school window in Jerusalem\'s Gilo neighborhood; one person was lightly hurt by glass fragments.
