MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud) made light of his not-so-light injuries Monday morning, a day after he hurt himself while cycling.
In a Facebook post, he wrote:
"Good morning, dear friends.
"Yesterday, I was not really in a condition that allowed me to read responses. This morning, I tried, but I was unable to overcome the flood of wishes for my health. It certainly stirs the heart.
“I do not want to make a big deal out of it, but for all those showing interest here is a temporary wrap-up:
“The collarbone is broken in two places and just floating there... something rare.
"Several ribs are also broken – apparently they felt the need to identify with the collarbone. One of them also punctured the lung a little.
"Other than that, Marquise, everything is OK,” he added .
“I thank G-d that none of this reached my head – the helmet was not even scratched," he added. "That is all. In a few days I will be back in full activity, but riding a little more carefully. Thanks again for all the good will. Love, Moshe.”
Feiglin's son survived a car accident in 2010, in which he suffered serious head injuries.
