Pinchas Tuktali, 81, of the Kiryat HaYovel neighborhood of Jerusalem, was buried this afternoon in Har HaMenuchot in the capital. He was murdered yesterday on his way home from an art lesson when a homicidal-suicidal Arab woman blew herself up on Jaffa St. Nineteen people remain hospitalized, including three in moderate-to-serious condition. An Arab patient is unconscious and suffering from burns all over his body; it is not yet known whether he was connected with the suicide bomber. Police are now saying that they are not certain that the woman meant to blow herself up; it is possible that she meant to place the bomb in a store and leave.

Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert said today, \"There is no place in the world where in the space of 400 square meters, 29 people have been killed in the course of 4 terrorist attacks in 5 months.\" He was referring to the 15 people killed in the Sbarro blast last August, 11 people murdered by double suicide bombers near Ben Yehuda St., two women shot to death on Yaffo St. last week, and one man yesterday in almost the same location.

Mayor Olmert met with Prime Minister Sharon and Finance Minister Shalom today to discuss the financial plight of the downtown storeowners in light of the wave of terrorism they are suffering. Some 60 stores were damaged yesterday, for total losses of 10 million shekels. It was decided that the storeowners would be granted benefits to help them weather the crisis; the exact details will be worked out by a team headed by Minister Eli Suissa. Arutz-7\'s Effie Meir reports that, contrary to the dire predictions of some and despite the rainy weather, Jerusalemites were present on downtown streets in impressive numbers today.
