Two students from Kazakhstan have been indicted for obstruction of justice in connection to the Boston marathon bombing in April of this year.

Students Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, both 19, were friends of bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

They allegedly removed fireworks and a computer from Dzhokhar’s room after realizing that he was suspected of involvement in the deadly attack.

If convicted, they could face up to 20 years in prison. Both could also be deported.

Dzhokar, 20, is awaiting trial on charges involving the bombing, which murdered three people and wounded more than 260. At least 14 people had limbs amputated due to injuries from the blast.

A police officer was later killed during the manhunt for the suspects.

Tsarnaev's brother Tamerlan, 26, also a suspect in the attack, was killed in a shoot-out with police days after the bombing.

If he is convicted, Dzhokar Tsarnaev could face life in prison or even the death penalty.
