National Infrastructures Minister Avigdor Lieberman demands that the head of the Police Investigations Branch, Moshe Mizrachi, take a lie-detector test: \"Mizrachi went into his [previous] office [a few days ago] and asked [the present occupant] to leave the room. I demand that Mizrachi relate to charges that he destroyed evidence.\" The case relates to charges that Mizrachi illegally authorized the wiretapping of Lieberman\'s and Binyamin Netanyahu\'s offices in 1998. In addition, a former Israel Police officer - who is now safely abroad with his family - has signed affidavits charging that when Mizrachi was appointed head of the department, \"many laws and norms were violated, including interference in legal procedures.\"
