Dozens of people from around the country held a rally Sunday at Tapuach junction in Samaria (Shomron). Protesters called on the police and military to take a stronger approach to fighting terrorism.

Last week an Israeli father of five, Evyatar Borovsky, aged 31, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian Authority terrorist at the Tapuach junction in broad daylight.

Several protests have been held at the junction and elsewhere in Judea and Samaria in the days following the murder. A demonstration Saturday night was targeted by PA Arabs, who threw stones at the Israeli demonstrators, wounding three.

Sunday’s protest was organized by the Women in Green. The organization expressed concern that Israel is returning to an old pattern in which PA terrorism increases while Israel makes concessions and “good-will offers” in response to international pressure. Several checkpoints that could have led to apprehending a knife-wielding Arab from the PA had been dismantled as a good-will gesture to Obama.

“We need to wake up now, so that we don’t wake up too late,” said Women in Green heads Yehudit Katzover and Nadia Matar.
