Residents of Samaria (Shomron) protested Tuesday evening at the Tapuach Junction following the murder at the junction of a young father.

Protesters accused the defense establishment of doing too little to fight terrorism, and called to take a tough hand against violence and terror in the region.

They called to bring IDF checkpoints back to dangerous areas in order to keep terrorists off the roads.

Similar protests were held at other junctions across Judea and Samaria.

Shortly after Tuesday’s murder a small-scale riot broke out in the area. Rioters blocked the road, attacked police and threw stones at Arab-owned cars. Ten people were arrested, four for attacking an Arab driver and six for disturbing the peace.
