Jewish youth celebrate the 65th anniversary of Israel's independence.
A wide mix of different people packed the streets of Jerusalem on Monday night and Tuesday afternoon in celebration of Yom Haatzmaut, Israel's Independence Day. Israel became free from the British empire on May 14th, 1948. The corresponding Hebrew date is the 5th of Iyar 5708.
