Visiting students from the United States who have been attending seminary in Israel this year toured military cemeteries Monday on Israel’s Memorial Day, speaking and listening to soldiers and commanders in the Israel Defense Forces.

“They told us stories about their experiences in the wars and family members and friends that they had that were affected by terror and war in Israel,” said one student.

One student, Jessica Jacobs, was so inspired by what she heard that she said her desire to move to Israel was cemented by the experience.

“I really want to make aliyah now, after this,” she told Arutz Sheva. “I wanted to this whole time, but this just makes it so much more real.”
