Arab terrorists shot and killed an Israeli civilian this morning as he was traveling in his car near Sanur, east of Netanya. The victim has been identified as an Israeli Arab, a resident of the Arab Jerusalem suburb Beit Hanina. Since the Arab lived in sovereign Israel and not in the administered territories, his car has yellow Israeli license plates. Investigators believe that because of the license plates, the terrorists thought they were murdering a Jew, not an Arab. They believe that the fatal shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The terrorists fled to safe haven in nearby PLO-controlled territory. More details will be published as they become available in the Latest News section.

In a separate shooting, Arabs opened fire on a school bus this morning near Hermesh, east of Hadera. None of the children were injured, but the bus was damaged.
