"Obama, there is no terrorism in Syria," is what Syrian protesters chose to tell the American president during a protest this week in support of the Jabhat Al-Nusra group.

Al-Nusra was blacklisted last week by the United States as a terrorist organization, due to its links to Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Its members are among a group of jihadist rebels in Aleppo, a key front line in northern Syria, who have publicly stated they wish to establish an Islamic state in Syria when the Assad regime falls.

Syria's Muslim Brotherhood chapter has slammed the U.S. for blacklisting Al-Nusra, saying the U.S. had made a “very wrong” decision.

The clip, which was posted to the internet on December 14, was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
