Likud MKs who won high slots on the party list celebrated Monday night and Tuesday after voting finally ended. Voting had continued for a second day due to problems with the party’s computerized voting system.

Education Minister Gidon Saar, who won the top slot under Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, took his elections team out to dinner. MK Yariv Levin and Deputy Minister Gila Gamliel celebrated in a similar fashion.

MK Tzipi Hotovely included a visit to the Kotel (Western Wall) in her celebrations. Hotovely visited the Tomb of the Patriarchs (Maarat Hamachpelah) in Hevron the day before the elections.

Moshe Feiglin, head of the Jewish Leadership faction, had cause for celebration as well. Feiglin made the top 15, giving him an excellent chance of entering Knesset.

Feiglin ran in the last primaries as well, winning the 20th spot, but was dropped to a spot in the mid-30s following a re-shuffling of the list.

Following his victory in this year’s primaries, Feiglin said he would celebrate with his core supporters on Tuesday. On Monday, however, he chose to simply go to bed early after having spent the day busy with media interviews.

MK Miri Regev chose to push off a party as well. She opted for morning prayers at a synagogue in Givat Shmuel on Tuesday followed by a simple celebration at home with her close staff, but will celebrate with her campaign crew at a restaurant on Saturday night.
