Following a complaint by MK Zahava Gal-On (Meretz), police have acted in conjunction with the prosecutor’s office, declaring bumper stickers “No Arabs, No Attacks” illegal under the laws of racism and incitement. Since the outbreak of the Oslo war in Sept, 2000, the bumper sticker, which promotes the transfer of the Arab population from Israel in order to bring about a cessation of terror attacks, has grown in popularity. Police are taking action against a student found to have such a bumper sticker on her car, which was spotted by Gal-On. Police explain that affixing the sticker is a violation of the law.
