Prime Minister Ariel Sharon today reiterated that even if the closures are lifted from PLO areas, Ramallah will remain sealed off, and Yasser Arafat will not be permitted to leave. Sharon has made Arafat\'s departure from Ramallah conditional upon the extradition of the murderers of cabinet minister Rechavam Ze’evi. The ISA (formerly the General Security Service) has learned that the murderers are in Ramallah, and Arafat knows their whereabouts. Sharon added that even if Arafat will have to remain in Ramallah “for years, then he will remain for years,” repeating that the issue is not negotiable.
