A Turkish court sentenced two local citizens to death who murdered a security officer at the Israeli embassy ten years ago. The terrorists detonated a bomb next to the car of the Israeli victim, Ehud Sadan. The convicted assassins belong to an extremist Islamic movement responsible for the murder of Turkish officials and others over the last ten years. It is not clear the Sadan murder appeared in the list of charges. As in most similar cases, it is likely that the death penalty will be reduced to life imprisonment.
