Avital Yahalomi, whose brother Cpl. Netanel Yahalomi was killed in a firefight with terrorists Friday, had a message of strength for the Jewish people as she sat shiva in mourning.
"The Nation of Israel needs to be stronger and not be soft hearted," she said. "Not to say 'we won’t go there and we won't carry out that operation.' It's true, we don't want them to be killed, we want to protect our soldiers, but if there is a need – then our soldiers are there for that. And I think that his reaction symbolized that."
