A new and refreshing Women in Green clip for the New Year sums up the movement's activities during the past year. It shows that despite the threatening sword of eviction dangling over Judea and Samaria's Jews, the momentum of settlement activity continues.
A moment before the new year enters, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, the heads of the Women in Green movement, have compiled the movement's activities during the past year in a special clip, and the picture it gives is encouraging. Along with the destruction and evacuation at Migron and the Ulpana neighborhood, along with the fears of the continuing destruction of outposts, settlement continues in practice – and no less importantly, in peoples' consciousness.
Matar and Katsover say about the clip: "Our people experienced a hard year with the evacuation of the Ulpana Neighborhood and Migron. The danger of uprooting has not passed from Netzer, as well, but not everything is black."
"The people of Israel, which is connected to Eretz Israel by all the chords of its soul, has mobilized with great joy for its redemption," they added. "We wanted to show this in the short clip for Rosh Hashanah. The people is stronger than all its leaders and, with G-d's help, we have no doubts that the Eretz Israel (Land of Israel) camp will lead in all areas, with even greater force."
