Heavy snow fell in Jerusalem in the late afternoon prompting many workers to clock out early. Some Israelis from Tel Aviv made their way to the capital to take pictures of \"Jerusalem of White.\" By morning, many roads in the Golan Heights and Galilee areas were already closed as a result of the heavy snowfall last night. Public schools in the high areas of northern Samaria, north of Jerusalem, sent their pupils home shortly after opening. Bulletproof IDF jeeps assisted in the task of bringing students home, as their routes pass by areas under PLO control. Police have called on motorists to exercise extreme caution due to the inclement weather.
