Today’s bone-marrow collection drive ended encouragingly early this afternoon, after the supply of available test-kits began to be eclipsed by the number of people wishing to be tested. Over 30,000 marrow samples were collected. It should be known within ten days whether matches have been found for the dozens of cancer patients waiting for the life-saving bone marrow.
