The ten Iranian Jews who were sentenced to multi-year prison terms for spying for Israel and the U.S. - falsely, American and Israeli sources claim - have asked to be pardoned. They directed their request to Iran’s spiritual leader Ayatollah Hamanai. Morris Motamad, the Jewish representative in Iran\'s legislative body, visited the ten recently and came back with the report. Iran is currently celebrating the 22nd anniversary of its rebellion against the Shah, and pardons are often granted during this period.
