Six Arab gunmen were eliminated last night in exchanges of fire with IDF soldiers. Three terrorists tried to penetrate a security fence in northern Gaza, along Israel’s southern Mediterranean coast. When the Arabs did not heed IDF orders to halt, soldiers opened fire and killed them. The Arabs were found carrying explosive belts on their persons. Earlier, three armed Arabs were spotted moving on a road just south of Elei Sinai in the same area. In October, Arabs infiltrated Elei Sinai and killed two Israeli civilians. A tank fired at the terrorists killing two of them, while the third tried to escape. After a short chase, he was also killed. In both incidents there were no reports of injuries to IDF forces.



Arab stone-throwers yesterday afternoon attacked IDF soldiers near Neve Tzuf northeast of Jerusalem. The soldiers used crowd-control methods to disperse the attackers… An explosive device was discovered and safely detonated yesterday by security forces at Peirot Junction, east of Herziliyah… A military vehicle was hit by stone-throwers yesterday at the A-Ram Junction in northern Jerusalem leading to a minor accident… Elsewhere, a civilian bus in the southern Mediterranean coast region was targeted by stone-throwers… Last night, a convoy of cars traveling in the Shomron near Chermesh was attacked by gunfire and an explosive device. Two vehicles were damaged. There were no reports of injuries in any of these incidents.
