While Jews, throughout the world and from different walks of life, gather around the Passover seder table with their families, many soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces will be spending the holiday at military bases, guarding the Jewish state from the evils that threaten its existence, even during times of national joy.

The IDF blog notes how you can make a difference in the lives of these soldiers, by simply ‘Liking’ their Facebook page and posting comments, as well as holiday greeting.

The Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers (AWIS), or  Agudah Le’ma’an Ha’Chayal, will deliver your greetings directly to the soldiers, all details included.

The AWIS is also going to be hosting a traditional Passover seder for over 400 lone soldiers, who will not be visiting their families this holiday. The seder is courtesy of the donations made by the A.B.S.I. FRANCE organization and Mrs. Hanita Atias-Keidar, noted the IDF blog.
