Senior army commanders believe that Hizbullah terrorists were responsible for Tuesday\'s fatal attack in which one Israeli soldier was killed and two others were seriously wounded. Senior military officials theorize that the Lebanese-based Hizbullah terrorists decided to perpetrate the attack in the Beit She\'an Valley, near the Jordanian border, so as remove themselves from suspicion.

Hizbullah in general is responding to American pressure on Syria, and is maintaining a low profile along Israel\'s northern border. An Israeli intelligence source added that Iranian weapons flights to Lebanon via Damascus have also been reduced, but that Hizbullah is working on developing alternative methods of obtaining weapons.
