The Egged bus company is introducing a new service to accommodate religious residents of Ashdod traveling to Bnei Brak. Egged removed several rows of seats from buses to clear a space for Shacharit (morning prayer) services during morning rush hour. Vishnitz Hassidim organize the prayers, on a special bus which bears the code 111. Rabbinical seminary (kollel) students living in Ashdod and studying in Bnei Brak are the main commuters on that line.



Egged Bus Cooperative spokesperson Ron Ratner said that the move is another example of Egged\'s ongoing effort to accommodate its passengers.
