Prime Minister Ariel Sharon last night rejected a demand made by Ministers Benny Elon and Avigdor Lieberman (NationalUnion/Yisrael Beitenu) that he refrain from pursuing negotiations that include talk of the establishment of a Palestinian State. Elon and Lieberman formalized their complaint in a letter to Sharon last night. In the letter the ministers ask Sharon to forbid members of the government coalition to engage in negotiations towards a Palestinian state without first deliberating the issue in front of all of the coalition members. Contrary to Sharon\'s initial reaction, government aide Gideon Sar later told ministers Elon and Lieberman that in fact no decision had been made in regard to their request.
