The IDF Spokesman confirmed Thursday a report published in Palestinian Authority (PA) media, according to which a female PA terrorist freed in the Shalit deal has been arrested by the IDF.

Hana Shalbi, a terrorist from the Islamic Jihad organization, was arrested by an IDF force Wednesday at her home in the village of Burkin, west of Jenin.

She was arrested based upon "completely certain" intelligence information regarding her intent to return to terrorist activity. She had been freed four months ago, during the Sukkot festival.

Shalbi is the third terrorist freed in the Shalit deal to be re-arrested by the IDF because of intent to return to terror. On Monday, terrorist Aiman Abu Daud was arrested in Hevron after he returned to activity with Hamas. Abu Daud had been sentenced to 36 years in jail for his involvement in four shooting attacks.

Two weeks ago, an IDF force arrested Aiman Ismail Salama in Hevron, on suspicion of terrorist activity.

The official PA news agency WAFA has claimed that yet another terrorist freed in return for Gilad Shalit, Ayad Halil of Kafin, has been arrested. The agency said he was arrested near Tulkarm, when he was with his brother and sister-in-law.

Hamas has demanded the terrorists be freed, and claimed their arrest violated the terms of the deal for Shalit's freedom.
