The Knesset Education Committee, the Budget and Planning Committee of the Council for Higher Education and the Education Ministry voted yesterday to replace the prerequisite of the psychometric exam for college admission with the scores achieved in high school graduation exams (bagrut) in mathematics, English and Hebrew. The Education Ministry is planning to implement the changes as early as the next school year.
