Prime Minister Ariel Sharon last night reduced his demands for allowing PLO leader Yasser Arafat to attend Christmas fesitivities tonight in Bethlehem. When Labor ministers Peres and Ben-Eliezer originally requested that Sharon allow Arafat to travel from Ramallah to Bethlehem for the holiday event, Sharon was opposed. However, Israel radio reported this morning that Sharon now says that Arafat can go to Bethlehem if he detains the terrorists who murdered the late Tourism Minister Rechavam Ze\'evi. The terrorist cell which perpetrated the assasination is located blocks away from Arafat\'s Ramallah office.
