Gaza terrorists are taking a leaf from history and learning to hide their explosives in newer, more creative ways.
IDF Spokesperson Avital Liebowitz posted a photo Monday showing the latest terrorist 'trojan horse' on the Twitter social networking site -- a "mock rock' that camouflages a far less innocent cache within its body.
"Fake rocks are commonly used against IDF soldiers near the Gaza Strip to hide explosives," Liebowitz tweeted.
The photo showed what appeared to be large round plaster model of a hollowed-out boulder that from the outside, looked like an exact replica of rocks from the region.
The hollow container was about the size of a very large beach ball -- large enough to hold a large bomb.
A "fake rock" such as the one depicted in the photograph is easily be hidden among others along the security fence separating Gaza from pre-1967 Israel, Liebowitz pointed out, and is one of the many ways used by terrorists to attack Israeli soldiers.
