The Inbal and David Citadel hotels in Jerusalem were voted into the top 10 best hotels in the Middle East by Conde Nast Traveler and described as being among the ”pinnacles of luxury” – for those who can afford it.

The ratings by travelers put the Inbal in the number four spot and the David Citadel in seventh place.

Dubai’s Park Hyatt was in the top spot, with a 95.5 rating.

The Inbal, located between the Old City and downtown Jerusalem, scored 87.5, while 86 was awarded to the David Citadel, near the Old City. It was designed by Moshe Safdi and was described by Conde Nast readers as “a comfortable and effortlessly classy place,” with a lobby that’s “grand without being opulent.”

Both hotels won the most praise for their location, design and food,  

The Park Hyatt in Dubai was described as a “quiet oasis.”

Hotels in Amman won the second and fifth spots, and Doha’s Four Seasons Hotel was ranked the third best in the Middle East.
