Guitarist Nadav Bachar and violinist Oren Tzur have launched a new project, “Doors of Repentance” (Daltey Teshuva).

Bachar and Tzur are well-known in the Israeli music industry. Over the years they have collaborated with artists such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Eviatar Banai, Amir Benayoun, David D'Or, Gili Shushan, Aharon Razel and many others.

The duo has recorded music in a variety of styles, ranging from Klezmer to hip hop and folk music, and they do so in a professional manner with originality and humor.

Bachar and Tzur have also delved into the world of Hassidic music, and four years ago they released a musical project called “Pshita,” the purpose of which was to expose listeners to the simplicity and truth of Hassidic music.

In their latest project, Bachar and Tzur perform Hassidic melodies attributed to the students of the Baal Shem Tov and to Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidism. Also participating in the new album, which includes special and exciting acoustic versions of these melodies, are singer Erez Lev Ari and clarinetist Yechiel Frank. With the exception of three songs, the album is an instrumental one.
