A new initiative may enable hareidi families, which generally don’t own television sets, to view TV clips on news and other items of interest. Effie Meir reports that Kobi Sela of Arutz-7 and Ariel Berman of Radio Kol Chai are working on a bi-weekly CD called \"Actualish\" (a Yiddish-like rendition of a word meaning \'current events\') that will be mailed to subscribers. The first edition contains a clip on the recent wedding of the Gerrer Rebbe\'s son, an interview with Tourism Minister Benny Elon discussing the connection between a rabbi and tourism, the fulfillment of a young cancer patient\'s dream in a toy store, songs of Shlomo Carlebach, and more. Regular reports on consumerism, family health, Jewish culture, and various kindness organizations will also be featured in the CDs. Channel Two\'s news division may prepare a seven-minute news report, to be anchored by veteran newsman Aharon Barnea. The reports will not contain pictures of women, nor reports on sport, gossip, and crime.
