Is Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas a Zionist quisling?

Senior Iranian legislator Seyed Mohammad Javad Abtahi said Wednesday the answer was "yes" when he accused Abbas of advancing "Israel's plots" to disintigrate the PA and undermine the so-called 'Arab Spring.'

"The game Abbas has started is a part of Israelis' plots to curb Intifada and undermine the Islamic countries' uprisings and awakening," Abtahi told Iran's semi-official Fars news agency.

He rejected Abbas's commitment to a two-state solution, which he said were intended to "disintegrate" the PA, and said any negotiations or compromise on ‘Palestine’ was totally unacceptable.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday also rejected a two-state solution to the Mideast conflict, calling instead for a unilateral 'Palestinian referendum' to decide the future of Israel.

"We neither propose dumping the migrant Jews in the sea nor the UN arbitration, rather our proposal includes a referendum to be participated by all Palestinians," Khamenei said.

"Today the West is standing on a crossroad and it should either leave its age-old bullying and recognize the rights of the Palestinians or wait for harder blows in the near future," Khameini added.
