Following the N\'vei Tzuf attack, local residents explained that a local commander removed several roadblocks in the area, and that they had warned a few days ago that an attack was liable to follow. Dozens of N\'vei Tzufites demonstrated at the site last night and demanded better protection. A similar problem apparently exists in Einav and Shavei Shomron, further north in the Shomron: The parents did not send their children to school today, the first day following the Chanukah vacation, in protest of what they say is the army\'s laxness in protecting the school bus trips.



Mortar shelling continued in Gaza as usual. A shell landed in one of the Gush Katif communities, followed by heavy shooting at IDF outposts near N\'vei Dekalim. No one was hurt.
