An Israeli commando unit shot and killed a Hamas leader last night in a Hevron neighborhood under PLO control. According to the IDF spokesman, Israeli commandos stormed the house of Yakub Dakidek to capture him and “investigate his involvement in Hamas terrorist activity.” When the fleeing terrorist did not heed orders to halt, he was shot and killed. The army spokesman added: “The IDF will continue to operate with resolve to thwart terrorist attacks and protect the citizens and soldiers of the State of Israel.”
