For the past four years, Roi Sadan, who is nicknamed “Redhead", has been travelling around the world on his bicycle.

Sadan began his journey four years ago in Alaska and on Wednesday finished his journey in Jerusalem. Throughout the journey he proudly hung the flag of Israel on his bike, which he named “Emunah” (Hebrew for faith).

“Four years, six countries, 66,000 kilometers, and one dream. It’s a lot of places,” Sadan told Arutz Sheva upon arriving in Jerusalem. “I met amazing people who are still my friends and still support me, and that’s the most fun part of the journey.”

Sadan said he had the Israeli flag on his bike throughout the trip, except for places where it is “detrimental to one's health” to do so, such as Central Asia and Turkey. At all other times, he said, “I’ve been proudly going around with our flag.”

As for his bike’s name, Emunah, he explained that he chose this name because it is “the most important thing in life,” and “as long as I have my faith and my feet I’ll get to wherever I want to go.”

Now that he’s back in Israel, Sadan plans to write a book about his experiences and maybe even make a movie about his exciting journey.
